Woodsorrel (Oxalis stricta) - Small #2

$25.00 Sold Out

This pendant contains one tiny specimen of Woodsorrel (Oxalis stricta), dried thoroughly and preserved in a small glass-like crystal of resin. This little native wildflower, commonly found growing in yards and beneath porches, and frequently confused with clover for it's incredibly similar leaves, is perhaps best known as an edible wildflower, with it's tangy leaves and flowers a tasty addition to summer salads.

The pendant measures about 44mm by 7mm or 1 3/4" by 5/16", and all metal used is hypoallergenic stainless steel.

The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The cap and findings are made of sturdy stainless steel.

This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
