Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) - Conical Pendant #1

$25.00 Sold Out

This pendulum contains one small sprig of Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), dried thoroughly and preserved in a glass-like point of clear resin.

The genus name Achillea is derived from the Greek figure Achilles, who, according to Homer's Illiad, was taught how to use this healing herb on the fields of battle by the centaur Chiron. Yarrow, in fact, has been used utilized for it's wound-staunching properties across Eurasian cultures since antiquity. It's considered by many to be the quintessential herb of healers, and carrying or wearing this herb is said to confer protection.

This sprig was grown by me with lots of love and care in my garden.

The pendants measure approximately 3" (68mm) long by 1/2" (13mm) wide with stainless steel bail and chain.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
