Wood Squill (Scilla siberica) - Small Copper Prism Necklace #5
$30.00 Sold Out
This pendant contains one small sprig of Wood Squill (Scilla siberica), dried and preserved in a prism-shaped casing of glass-like resin and topped by earthy, patina'd electroplated copper.
Wood Squill, otherwise known as Siberian Squill, is a Russian native wildflower, blooming in the very early spring in forest clearings. It is widely naturalized due to it's use as a garden plant, prized for it's vivid blue blooms - a rarity in the botanical world.
This specimen has been pressed and coated with a UV resistant finish prior to being encapsulated in resin.
The pendant measures 54mm long by 33mm wide, and 20mm thick. This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in tissue paper and hemp twine and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.
Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
