White Maiden Pink (Dianthus deltoides var albus) - Medium #1
This pendant contains one small sprig of a white cultivar of Maiden Pink (Dianthus deltoides), dried thoroughly and preserved in a glass-like point of clear resin.
Normally naturally bright pink in color, the word for the color "pink" is actually derived from the Dianthus genus of flowers, rather than the other way around.
The pendant measures about 59mm by 10mm or 2 5/16" by 3/8", and all metal used is hypoallergenic stainless steel.
The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The cap and findings are made of sturdy stainless steel.
This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.
Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
