Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) - Large #2
This pendant contains one small specimen of Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare), dried thoroughly and preserved in a clear point of glass-like resin.
Tansy has a long and storied history of use in traditional medicine, and is still used to this day as a natural insecticide. It is believed to be a good luck charm for money, based on the bright yellow flowers which resemble small coins.
The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The cap and findings are made of sturdy stainless steel.
This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.
Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
