Sulphur Cinquefoil (Potentilla recta) - Long #1

$25.00 Sold Out

This pendant contains two tiny flowers of Cinquefoil (Potentilla reptans) pressed and preserved in a glass-like pane of resin.

A medicinal herb native to the British Isles, Cinquefoil, with it's distinctive five petal flowers, are a common motif of British heraldry, church architecture, etc. The flower is considered a symbol of nobility and strength. It is also representative of the pentagram, making it a symbolically significant herb to some modern practitioners of Wicca and witchcraft.

This specimen has been pressed and coated with a UV resistant finish prior to being encapsulated in resin.

This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
