Snakeroot (Ageratina altissima) - Small #1

$25.00

This pendant contains one small floret of Snakeroot (Ageratina altissima), dried and preserved in a prism-shaped casing of glass-like resin.

Snakeroot is a North American native herb and a deadly poisonous one at that. It is the plant responsible for the rash of "disease" known as "milk sickness" that plagued early settlers in the 19th century of America.

This specimen has been pressed and coated with a UV resistant finish prior to being encapsulated in resin.

The pendant measures 54mm long by 33mm wide, and 20mm thick. This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
