This pendant contains one small specimen of Snakeroot (Ageratina altissima), dried thoroughly and preserved in a clear thin cone of glass-like resin.
Snakeroot is a North American native herb and a deadly poisonous one at that. It is the plant responsible for the rash of "disease" known as "milk sickness" that plagued early settlers in the 19th century of America.
The pendant measures approximately 65mm long by 15mm wide, with stainless steel bail and chain.
