Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota) - Large Copper Dipped Pendant

$28.00 Sold Out

This pendant contains one small sprig of Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota), dried and preserved permanently in a glass-like point of resin, topped with a layer of earthy electroplated copper with copper bail and chain.

A native of the British Isles, Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota), otherwise known as Wild Carrot, is a common and iconic symbol of the late summer. It is so named due to the delicate white flower's resemblance to lace.

The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The piece measures approximately 3 1/2" inches long including bail holding the chain, by about 5/8" wide.

This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
