Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota) - Chunky Statement Prism Necklace #2
This large statement necklace contains one small specimen of Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota), dried thoroughly and preserved in a clear point of glass-like resin.
A native of the British Isles, Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota), otherwise known as Wild Carrot, is a common and iconic symbol of the late summer. It is so named due to the delicate white flower's resemblance to lace.
The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The cap and findings are made of sturdy stainless steel.
This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.
Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
PLEASE NOTE: The modeled shot at the second to last photo is not the exact pendant you will receive but one of the exact same dimensions, in order to give you a sense of it's scale.
