This pendant contains one small specimen of Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis), pressed and preserved in a glass-like pane of clear resin.
A native of North America, Jewelweed, otherwise known as Touch-Me-Not, is a late summer-early autumn flower that is traditionally used as a topical medicinal herb for poison ivy and other rashes.
This specimen has been pressed and coated with a UV resistant finish prior to being encapsulated in resin.
The pendant measures 62mm by 45mm at it's widest points. This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.
