Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis) - Large #1

$25.00 Sold Out

This pendant contains one small sprig of Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis) dried thoroughly and preserved in a clear pane of glass-like resin. A native of North America, Jewelweed, otherwise known as Touch-Me-Not, is a late summer-early autumn flower that is traditionally used as a topical medicinal herb for poison ivy and other rashes.

The specimen has been pressed dry and coated with a UV resistant finish before being embedded in resin for maximum protection against damage.

The pendant measures around 5.5cm (2 1/4") long by 4.5cm wide (1 3/4"). This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
