Japanese Quince (Chaenomeles japonica) - Medium #2
$25.00 Sold Out
This pendant contains one small specimen of Japanese Quince (Chaenomeles japonica), pressed and preserved in a pane of clear, glass-like resin.
Japanese Quince, as the name implies, is a flowering shrub native to Japan, perhaps best known for it's delightful deep pink to salmon-red flowers it produces in the Spring. Like it's cousin the True Quince, Japanese Quince produces apple shaped golden fruit.
This specimen has been pressed and coated with a UV resistant finish prior to being encapsulated in resin.
The pendant measures 62mm by 45mm at it's widest points. This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.
Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
