Golden Alexander (Zizia aurea) - Large Copper Dipped Pendant #2

$28.00 Sold Out

This pendant contains one small sprig of Golden Alexander (Zizia aurea), dried and preserved permanently in a glass-like point of resin, topped with a layer of earthy electroplated copper with copper bail and chain.

Golden Alexander is a member of the Carrot family and a widespread native wildflower throughout most of the continental United States and Canada. It grows in often large swaths in the heart of spring in meadows and thickets.

The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The piece measures approximately 3 1/2" inches long including bail holding the chain, by about 5/8" wide.

This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
