Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) - Large Copper Dipped Pendant #2

$28.00

This pendant contains one small sprig of Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium), dried and preserved permanently in a glass-like point of resin, topped with a layer of earthy electroplated copper with copper bail and chain.

Feverfew is so named due to it's traditional use as an herbal medicine to treat headaches. A native of Europe, this small, daisy-like herb is even now being researched for it's healing properties, with some research being done on the herb's chemical constituent's efficacy in fighting cancer.

The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The piece measures approximately 3 1/2" inches long including bail holding the chain, by about 5/8" wide.

This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
