This pendulum contains one small sprig of pink Deptford Pink (Dianthus armeria), dried thoroughly and preserved in a glass-like point of clear resin.
Few people know that these vibrant, tiny summer flowers are actually, along with their fellow Dianthus genus members, the namesake for the color "pink", rather than the other way around.
The pendants measure approximately 3" (68mm) long by 1/2" (13mm) wide with stainless steel bail and chain.
