Crimson Clover (Trifolium incarnatum) - Large Copper Dipped Pendant

$28.00 Sold Out

This pendant contains one small sprig of Crimson Clover (Trifolium incarnatum), dried and preserved permanently in a glass-like point of resin, topped with a layer of earthy electroplated copper with copper bail and chain.

Otherwise known as "Italian Clover", this species of clover, with it's deep red, flame-like wisps of crimson florets, is a native of Europe where it is grown as a valuable forage crop for cattle. It is often used in erosion control and other forms of land management, where it is often favored above other species for it's beautiful appearance.

The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The piece measures approximately 3 1/2" inches long including bail holding the chain, by about 5/8" wide.

This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
