Crimson Clover (Trifolium incarnatum) - Copper Plated Necklace #4

$34.00 Sold Out

This pendant contains one small sprig of Crimson Clover (Trifolium incarnatum), dried and preserved in a clear dome of glass-like resin and then electroformed with a ring of patina'd copper.

Otherwise known as "Italian Clover", this species of clover, with it's deep red, flame-like wisps of crimson florets, is a native of Europe where it is grown as a valuable forage crop for cattle. It is often used in erosion control and other forms of land management, where it is often favored above other species for it's beautiful appearance.

This specimen has been pressed and coated with a UV resistant finish prior to being encapsulated in resin.

The pendant measures 43mm long by 31mm wide - or approximately 1 3/4" by 1 1/4". This pendant is one of a kind and will be hand wrapped in white tissue paper and hemp twine and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
