Christmas Fern Fiddlehead (Polystichum acrostichoides) - Conical Pendant #2

This pendant contains one small specimen of Christmas Fern fiddlehead (Polystichum acrostichoides), dried thoroughly and preserved in a clear thin cone of glass-like resin.

Most fern fronds unfurl in the early spring into this elaborate spiral shape known as a fiddlehead, a folk term for the structure's resemblance to the head of a violin.

The pendants measure approximately 3" (68mm) long by 1/2" (13mm) wide with stainless steel bail and chain.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
