This pendant contains one small sprig of Chinese Forget-Me-Not (Cynoglossum amabile), dried thoroughly and preserved in a clear point of glass-like resin.
A close, Asian relative of the well-known Forget-Me-Not (Myosotis sylvatica), Chinese Forget-Me-Not is a common floral garden favorite, beloved for it's brightly colored flowers and it's arching fuzzy branches, the plant being taller and fuller than it's western counterpart.
The pendant measures about 59mm by 10mm or 2 5/16" by 3/8", and all metal used is hypoallergenic stainless steel.
The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The cap and findings are made of sturdy stainless steel.
This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.
