Bluet (Houstonia caerulea) - Long #1
This pendant contains two tiny flowers of Bluet (Houstonia caerulea) pressed and preserved in a glass-like pane of resin. Also known as "Quaker Ladies" and sometimes confused with Forget-Me-Nots, these cute little blue spring flowers are actually a native of the northeastern US, dotting meadows and woodland clearings in the height of spring.
This specimen has been pressed and coated with a UV resistant finish prior to being encapsulated in resin.
This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.
Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
