Black Medick (Medicago lupulina) - Medium #1

This pendant contains one small sprig of Black Medick (Medicago lupulina), dried thoroughly and preserved in a glass-like point of clear resin.

A common pastoral herb, this diminutive, hardy alfalfa relative is one of the species most commonly used to make honey, and it's tolerance of a wide variety of conditions makes it a perfect plant to help establish meadows and reclaim cultivated areas.

The pendant measures about 59mm by 10mm or 2 5/16" by 3/8", and all metal used is hypoallergenic stainless steel.

The specimen has been dried thoroughly and coated in a UV resistant finish prior to being embedded in epoxy resin. The cap and findings are made of sturdy stainless steel.

This pendant is one of a kind and will be wrapped in a manner similar to the last photo in the listing and come with a small tag stating the name of the species, stamped by hand and typed on a vintage typewriter.

Please let me know at checkout if you have a necklace length preference! Otherwise I will include an 18" chain by default.
